In a relaxed and friendly setting enjoy a full day of fun, practical and informative learning making your own leather belt.In a small group of up to 4 students you'll learn the basics of leatherwork, all about the materials and tools, cutting and preparing natural vegetable tanned leather, and traditional hand stitching techniques, You'll have the opportunity to personalise your belt, and you'll go home with a beautiful unique handmade item.
All materials are included in the price. Your buvckle, all hardware, and a choice of vegetable tanned leather, each hide individually selected for its beautiful natural qualities.
As this is a full day workshop please bring a packed lunch. Tea/coffee and homemade cake is provided to keep your energy and creative levels up.
Covid Update - The studio is light and airy with good natural ventilation, and the leather working bench is large enough to fit 4 students comfortably within the social distancing guidelines. Each student will have their own set of tools which will be sanitised before and after every workshop and further sanitising measures will be taken throughout. Handwashing and sanitiser facilities on entry. I want to make sure everyone feels comfortable with our Covid procedures, so if you have any queries please ask.
